Transfer of Technology and training plays a key role in enhancing the energy industry locally and internationally through cooperative and supportive associations.

The aim of the technology transfer programmes of Broron is to facilitate domestic and international companies to build up staff and manage projects independently, thus achieving technological self-sufficiency.

Programmes range from a few weeks to several months, and include a full range of subjects focused primarily on the offshore oil and gas industry. Structured programmes through classroom instruction, technical workshops, facility visits and hands-on instruction are tailored to fit the specific needs of each client.

The approach is based on extensive, successful and practical experience in the local and international collaborative technology enterprise, that:

•             Provides a step–wise methodology by which to plan, integrate and implement an overall technology transfer and capacity building program.

•             Addresses the specific needs of organizations of varied backgrounds and needs in a partnership setting.

•             Incorporates formal evaluation, feedback and follow up mechanisms to ensure successful implementation.
